Default Sometimes things just ain't meant to be

A few weeks back I saw a pair of speakers on ebay I was very interested in, they had a BIN offer and i was tempted to give them a go even though it would have meant a car journey of about 6 hours round to collect them.

I emailed the seller at the time with a few queries and asked him to send me a few more pictures as well. The email was never responded to and so I watched as they went unsold. I'm pretty sure they have been up for sale again since at the same BIN but I resisted.

Anyway a couple of days ago I noticed they had been listed again as an auction and with an option of collection from a location closer to me which would have been much easier for me, had to be the same seller as the pictures and wording of the add were identical.

The auction was due to end at about 1pm today and as of about 11 am I was the highest bidder, id talked myself into really wanting them and that they were in fact mine already!!

Then low and behold the auction is pulled, I can only guess why but I'm a bit p!ssed !!

I guess it's just not meant to be in this case.,

    What were the speakers, Ben?

Maybe they will come up again and third time is the charm...

There is a seller Babacat1 on ebay who lists items as location Dumfries but if you want to collect them in person they are in Walsall. He also lists under another ebay user in Walsall (but I can't for the life of me remember the other name) and if you want to collect the items are in Dumfries. I've seen the exact same items get listed with both sellers. A couple of years back someone on Wigwam got stung buying from the Walsall located seller and there was a lengthy post where a number of people came forward to say they had a similar experience.

Not necessarily. It's not unknown for dodgy sellers to clone ads from other people's listings.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Didn't get the chance to actually pay for anything so it's just frustrating really
