Hi,
In a wonderful review of this phono stage, the gain was measured at 34db, as opposed to the specified 40db.

Can anyone confirm what the actual gain is?
Thank you!

Hi Chris,
I email Guy and he responded in 3 minutes!
"It depends what ECC88 variant is fitted. I'm generally installing Russian 6n23 now which give >40 db gain overall."
I hope to audition the P10 this autumn when I travel to New York. I've heard the Croft RIAA, and it's a wonderful phono stage.
I have owned mine from when Pure Sound first announced them. I have never had any desire to change it I like it a lot, ( still on its original valves, which could probabaly do with changing now as it has been in use for probably 6 years with no valve rolling)
