    Default Hi

Just registered and thought I'd say hi.

Although most of my equipment has been in storage for a while (5-10 years), once I move into the new place, it'll all be coming back out.

I'm in the middle of a refub project and have tried to think of as much as possible to accommodate for a half decent (but basic) DIY home cinema solution.

My equipment is: sonus faber grand piano (L&R), cremona centre speaker, m&k floor standing tripole speakers for the rear (don't remember the model number) and am currently looking for for k4 tripole for the 2 additional channels to complete my 7.1 setup.

I plan on buying a sub, projector and TV once I move in.

I have various crown amps (again, don't remember the models) and a tag av32r. I'll probably replace the tag with an anthem mrx 710 once I move in. The budget is tight, I'll be buying used so can't afford pre/power at is stage. Especially when you factor in how much decent cabling costs.

I've already run the cables for all the speakers and bought fibre cable for the projector.

Just need to complete the refurb and move in ASAP!

Thanks for reading and hello again.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

If you like muti-channel systems, it may be worth looking through the 'AV Studio' section: http://theartofsound.net/forum/forum...-The-AV-Studio

Noted, thanks. Already posted a query regarding a stand for the Cremona.
