    Shaun, did you try anything to fix this issue since you first posted on 14th. Like disabling anti-virus, disabling firewall, reinstalling chrome, disabling add-ons and the like?

    If so then try enable Chrome logging and see what error is reported.

    In my experience it is usually the diagnosis that can take time- the fix usually is easy to implement.

    Another thing you could try is installing something like ccleaner. Often an app like that will cure issues.

    Mine has crashed a couple of times since the Win10 update as well, the update also tampered with my WiFi connection, was really slow and took me a little while to sort out. I use Linux Mint on my other laptop and it is faultless, I'd dump Windows completely but there are a few programs that will only run on it that I need.
