Default LP12 and Naim Aro Armlift

I am looking for some advise
It has become tricky using the Aro on my LP12 and I wonder if you could manufacture a lift/lower device to attach to the armboard.
There is a device which needs the LP12 to be dismantled and rebuilt
called the elevator but the labour would be excessive
    Any ideas?

    Something like this maybe?

It looks as though it fixes via two screws from the top, but I'd be inclined to try mounting with thin double sided adhesive tape. I did this with my arm rest very successfully.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

This might be a cheaper alternative: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rega-Turnt....c100005.m1851

It is cheaper, but would require a mounting of some sort to fit into as it is designed to works at a distance above the turntable top plate/panel.

Ah - I thought it could be simply affixed to the arm board with glue. I realise now it is intended to be mounted in a bracket, off the arm column.

Elevator is the answer, its one hole drilled in an arm board.

I'd have thought at £150 from a dealer fitting wouldn't be excessive?

The Tiger Paw solution is the most thorough.

Default LP12 and Naim Aro Armlift

I've had an Aro on my LP12 for over 11 years now and used it with Aromatic for about 9 years quirky but worked. I had the Stiletto fitted I was unable to use the " Aromatic " and had the Elevator fitted. This is basically a Rega arm lift modified to allow it to be used on the Aro.

Again a hole has to be drilled to used but is a good solution.

    Regards,

    Martin

Thank you to all that replied. I have since had some info from a respected LP12 expert who advises that it is not as time consuming as I was led to believe.
But it is good to know that there is also a reasonable alternative to the Elevator
    Thanks again Guys
