... while I a fan and thanks for the pointer. Must have missed it.
Nah probos, I am reliably informed (by dan Jennings) it's ok, but by no means there best worth the download! Still going my end!

I think this was featured in my "Steaming Piles" thread...
Yep, seems at least St3v3 and Themis thought it was a pile of pooh!

it's not too bad.... it's just always going to be a disappointment....
NIN did a run of spectacular releases (Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, Downward Spiral, The Fragile) and he spent years perfecting each one...
But he seems to be very prolific with very average material after that.... (With Teeth was OK, Year Zero was OK to good, Ghost I-IV was a bit boring, and The Slip was more of the same...)
Pull your finger out Mr Reznor!
Apparently NIN have knocked it on the head live gig wise... so maybe Mr Reznor can finally spend some time and make another masterpiece.
oh by the way, there is a free Live NIN DVD you can download legally, in several formats, including soon, a HD blu ray one, if you are so inclined....
get it here:

I would like a version of Pretty Hate Machine that's been revisited and remastered. Properly.
Downloaded "The Slip" now but w/e turned out too busy to get to listening
Now that is how albums should be offered to the consumer. Apart from the free bit. I'd happily pay, but to have the lossless formats of your choice, brilliant.
Hats off to NIN.
