Default Wanted: Leak Sandwich woofers 13" (Pair)

I'm looking for a nice and working pair of 8 Ohm, 13", Leak Sandwich woofers.

These will be used in my B&W DM70 as it turns out they will sound much better then with the original B&W woofers.

I see lots for sale in The UK but most sellers are reluctant to take the woofers out of its cabinet and to ship to The Netherlands.

    Default 13 inch Leaks.

They are often actually 13 inches! Best chance is finding old original Sandwiches, though they did come in both 8 and 15 ohm, so beware.
My 3090s have 14 inch bass (actual cone is 11 inch)
The Sandwich is 13 inch, (cone 10 inch.) I've frequently seen them dismantled in t'bay.
The one advantage is the doped surround (Sandwich) or rubber -3090s- rather than decayable foam.

    Thanks for the reply!

They are actually 5.3 Ohms when you measure the 8 Ohm Leak woofers.

And yes, they are 13", they come from the Leak 2060 and they will fit.

They are the 8 Ohms, 13", I'm looking for and I have adjusted my topic.

I've got DM70s and Model 70s both sound better with the sandwich drivers.

This man sells the drivers in matched pairs with a warranty but they are expensive. But a least he will ship.

    Yep, I know Reiner.

My electrostatics are at his place being repaired atm.

His Sandwich woofers are to pricey compared to the Leak 2060 Sandwich woofer which are basically the same woofers.

I recall my wife being bored-on-the sofa by visitor buying Leak Sandwiches from me, as he went on to her
"interestingly....you have to rotate the magnets on the woofers every so often......"
He was right, but she often uses it as a reference to hi-fi fans!

I found a nice pair of 2060 here in The Netherlands.

But, now that I have listen to them for some time they sound amazing and like hornucopia said to me in a PM, it feels not right to take them a part.

On is a new quest, but just to find a pair of woofers only
