Can’t actually get there until Wednesday unfortunately. ☹️

If they have non left, I’ll just have a go at making some! (Better 40 years late than never)

Cool... I'd like to see the outcome of that! If you do manage to get some of the Lidl ones, let me know what you think

Thumbs up Breakfast this morning in Sunny Wrexham, chez-Marco...

The fresh apricots and strawberry jam this time should hopefully not make everything the same colour for Geoff!

You can't beat a nice frothy cappuccino, first thing in the morning......

    Marco.

P.S That Compal peach juice, from our local Portuguese deli, is to die for, so thick and fruity. It's a veritable taste of the sun!

Work is on Shut Down for half-term week, so it’s holiday brekkies!

Trying to be moderately healthy these days, I usually swim for 20 mins every morning at 6:30, so I NEED my breakfast

White corn tacos with Lincolnshire sausage, chorizo and tomato, poached egg, basic guacamole and hot sauce to top it off.

I can’t believe I completely forgot the HashBrowns I made from scratch this morning too. Found them in the covered frying pan after we’d finished! Ah well, that’s tomorrows brekky sorted.

And I forgot to add the sliced mushrooms to my chicken casserole last night. Found them in the microwave after I'd eaten!

I’ve had this on my mind for weeks now and finally got the time to do it.

Ensaimadas cooked in a traditional style.

Started yesterday evening by making the dough. Then left it overnight to prove.

This is what they looked like after proving

Then into the oven this morning for 15 minutes.

Then a bit of icing sugar before being devoured.
