Default Stock Take! How Much Kit have you got

Just sold and gave away a load of kit so thought I would have a stock take, sadly not really made a dent. How silly has it got for you? I'll go first, might make you feel better. Cut and paste my template and fill in your own figures (you might have to add categories)

    Turntables: 3

    Cartridges: 7

    Phono stages/ SUTs / Head Amps: 1

    CD/SACD Players: 11

DACS 0 (room for improvement there)

    Integrated Amplifiers: 3

    Pre Amplifiers: 2

    Power Amplifiers: 4

    Loudspeakers: 6 pairs

    Subwoofers 1

Headphones 0 pairs (not planning to change that).

    Tuners: 3

    Tape decks 2

    DAT decks 1

    Multi-channel 'Home Theatre' receivers: 3

Not going to include speaker cables or interconnects as that's just silly. But there's a fair few of them too.

A list of what I'm not using and could possibly get rid of would take far too long. Even I don't know quite what I have.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Nevertheless I insist. If I said it was a pissing contest would it spur you on?

BTW just found another CD player

    OK. You win.

Off the top of my head this is approximately what I have (not necessarily all working and in one piece though).

    8 turntables

    7 spare pickup arms (tonearms)

    18 cartridges (I think)

    3 CD players

    1 CD transport

    1 tuner

    1 MiniDisc deck

    3 personal MD player/recorders

    4 pre-amps (if you include a passive)

    2 tube buffer stages

    2 DACs

    2 jitter busters

    3 integrated amps

    1 phono stage

    1 SUT

    5 sets of power amplification

6 pairs of speakers (plus enough drivers and crossover bits to build twenty more pairs)

    30 (ish) pairs of interconnects

10 (ish) pairs of speaker cables

8 pairs of headphones (of varying size and quality)

2 (if you want to include them) full sized DVD players.

    There's probably more that I haven't thought of .
