ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven
Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

Any of the NVA models will better a Tisbury and they are not silly money. I've had the one I've got up against some very good, very expensive passives and actives including Music First, Marco's super modded Croft, two different LDR passives (Tortuga and one another) plus some others I don't remember and it was not found wanting. The stepped attenuator versions are worth the extra. Loads of inputs and three sets of outputs too, handy for bi and tri amping and also for connecting subwoofers should you so desire.
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
Thanks for sharing, Colin. Glad to hear that the Myriad 'gelled' with the rest of your system. And the fact that, in the overall scheme of things, it cost so little means you can justify, if need be, spending more on headphones
