    Yes that's a good idea, let's start another tortuous debate, but this time about spikes which is really a barrow of hot potatoes.

    With my current spiked speakers are supplied 'pucks' to stop the pikes, well, spiking.

    Do they decouple? Well not in the case of running shoes, or nails in wood? Do they couple, seems improbable given the vast changes in impedance along the path. Anyway buy gold plated ones, cryogenically treated, and made by virgins in the mists of a mountain in the Middle East.

    No, but I find it amusing that we end up at boundaries of knowledge, and in the struggle to further understand things go round in circles, often coming up with the most ridiculous suppositions and accounts of things.
