    The prebuilt one from atlhifi looks pretty decent but it's a lot of money for something so simple.

    Interesting, especially as it's from a real engineer, and a great price.

    ...if you opened up those multi £100 boxes that you can find from some retailers, this is pretty much what you'll find inside.

    You couldn't build and box the sjostrom one for 75 euros. Not unless you like real ugly boxes.
    Kuzma Stabi/S 12", (LP12-bastard) DC motor and optical tacho psu, Benz LP, Paradise (phonostage). MB-Pro, Brooklyn dac and psu, Bruno Putzeys balanced pre, mod86p dual mono amps, Yamaha NS1000m

    Rule number one of diy, only buy from known good sources.

    Yes, I hadn't realised, Simon. It was quite late and i didnt pay enough attention to the listing. Lesson learned. Saying that, i have had no issues previously with Chinese sellers.
