If only 1% of people back then knew differently, then that automatically made what the other 99% believed, the 'accepted truth' - much like today believing that current science has all the answers for hi-fi (or rather what I stated in post 218), which is similarly erroneous

It isn't just Marco though it is tens of thousands of people at least. What we need is a Project Blue Book for hi-fi. Only not a whitewash, obviously. Investigate the claims properly and look for other answers. Expectation bias isn't the answer in every case, although I agree it will be in some.

Indeed, and I'd still be telling you that the 'laws of physics' doesn't have ALL the answers to how, we as humans interpret sound, as reproduced via our hi-fi systems, no matter how much your expectation bias/deeply-ingrained objectivist dogma dictates differently!

...therefore, we may was well simply 'agree to disagree' and go to the pub!
