Jolida JD9 Mk2 valve tube phonostage with factory Upgrade 1 and then additional mega mods

In excellent condition with original box and manual. 2 very minor minor marks unnoticeable- see new photos further down tread.

Latest variation of this well known and reviewed phono stage. While based on the prior circuit, the newer version has a larger power supply, the addition of a robust voltage regulator, upgraded output capacitors (not applicable here) and changes to the resistor arrays.

The Upgrade 1 is an option that Jolida carry out themselves being an extra addition of a resistor array to the input and driver tubes (plus better caps and tubes which is not applicable as you will read below). Jolida charge $250 extra for this mod.

So in addition to this, much more has been done:

Power Supply:
1) 100uF Rubycon electrolytic capacitor now a Mundorf M-Lytic HV and bypassed with a ModWright M Series.
2) 22uF Rubycon electrolytic capacitor now a Jantzen film type
3) 2 x 1000uF Rubycon electrolytic capacitors now Nichicon FG bypassed with Vishay MKP1837
4) HiFi Tuning Silver Star fuse
5) Furutech gold plated IEC mains input

Output:
1) Output capacitors are now of the very best - Deulund RS Copper Foil
2) Output tubes now Raytheon CK5755 - matched pair with adaptors. Tube dampeners are Herbies UltraSonix RX types imported from the USA
3) DC filter capacitor now ModWright M Series
4) Output wire is now pure cast silver silver PTFE wrapped with screen and drain wire.
5) Output RCA sockets now WBT Next Gen gold over copper (low output set removed as more for USA market with ultra high gain preamps)

Input:
1) RCA sockets now silver plated types
2) Larger earth post fitted
3) 6 op-amps now Sparkos (big upgrade)

Other:
1) Feet now are Herbies Tenderfoot (soft) which absorb micro and macro vibrations (imported from the USA)
2) Some Sound Coat dampening applied to chassis
3) All solder used for mods was the Audio Note 6%

Sounds amazing - very dynamic, detailed and smooth.
