I've got an ad on gumtree for a Linn LK140, it's in perfect working order but it has a small dent in the front and one on the back, I know this can be off putting to some but I've got it as low as £185, that's half what they can go for on Ebay. (i'd hang onto it if I didn't need the cash as it's a useful bit of kit)

My bad experiences with post and packing have put me off shipping it.

Is there a 'right time' to sell?

Blimey, wished I'd seen this a few months ago when I bought my LK140!! I'd be seriously tempted to try bi-amping for £185.....??

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around

Learn from everyone, that's what life is for

I did have it on here a few months ago, but a frustrating experience with a courier has put me off ever sending hifi again. I do realise this drastically cuts down on my chances of finding a buyer though unfortunately.

I wondered if the time of year was bad for selling.
Before and after Christmas bad too it seems.
Thought September might be good as business usually takes off in print then.

'Course as with houses you only need one buyer.
Except on Ebay where you need 2 bidding against each other
