No worries, mate, totally understand. However, in that situation I'd personally opt for a takeaway curry from a good Indian restaurant, instead of a supermarket ready meal. It'd be far better quality and you'd also get much more food for your money
In terms of those who hate curry, I think some of it is a generational thing, as most older folks I know can't stand the stuff, my dad included, and he loves all sorts of food, but mainly British and Mediterranean-style dishes.
Personally, I love hot, spicy food, but most importantly variation in my diet.
Therefore, if I have a curry one day, then the next day it'll be something totally different, such as pasta, and then once I've had pasta, the next day I might have something like roast chicken or lamb chops, then the next day a Chinese, etc - but it's always got to be something TASTY and worthwhile eating, which I'll look forward to having.
I simply don't do boring, bland food, bulked out just to act as sustenance!
Italians LIVE to eat, not EAT to live....
