Identical performance to the Firebottle 2000 head amp but in a plastic outer case and with fixed 100 ohm loading.
Uses internal screening box, 4.5V battery with 2000 hours battery life. Low output impedance, 25dB gain. Now £60

I've had the pleasure of using the gold Firebottle demonstrator and for £40 it's a steal. Excellent sounding unit. I very nearly bought it but ended up with a new amp instead. If you can stretch to the 2000 prototype you will be pleasantly surprised.
