It's still got MM/MC Compatibility. The toggle switch on the front was for power. Thats been replaced by a new push button jobbie. Looks the business

Heard this tonight at Firebottle towers, very very impressive to say the least, probably the best I've heard Alan's system sound by a country mile. I'm looking forward to hearing the OTP-MK 2 in my system in the not too near distant future.

Pleased to say the Firebottle OTP-MK2 is now finished !!!!

How's it sound? Well you can find out!!. There is to be a loaner unit doing the rounds which Alan will create a thread for.

All I will say is, I am very pleased to have been a part of the research that has gone into this.

Oddly, the hours I spent listening to Capacitors has been both fruitful and pointless. Alan has done away with the capacitors all together hahaha.

Still, it was great fun and I've loved it.

For me, it's been very beneficial to learn a lot of how these things are put together. I'm now listening to a few LPs and it's the best my system has sounded.

Sign up for a loan and see what you think!

If you are near Huddersfield on the 6th of August, it will be in a bake off at MCRU along with the KIN.

Should be a very good setup there too.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
