Default FS Viablue NF-S1 Quattro Silver RCA to XLR cable, 1.2m

Hardly used, this cable is in excellent condition and is boxed.

Two RCA plugs to XLR male plugs. I used this from an RCA CD player to an amp that you could configure an XLR input to be unbalanced. It worked well and an improvement over XLR adapters.

€144 new, I am asking £80 including UK delivery.

The cable length is 1m although 1.2m end to end.

Payment by PayPal gift or bank transfer.

    Default Viablue cables

Can you give me the lengths of the separate cables on each end to see if these will have sufficient scope to work for me without any diying on the sheaths. Thanks

    Douglas,

Phono end: 11cm from back of plug to y point. Max distance between socket centres would be 21cm.

XLR end: 14cm from back of plug to y point. Max distance between socket centres would be 26cm.

Hi....presumably although these are called Quattro Silver, the conducters are copper and only the screening has silver plating?

This appears to be a pseudo-balanced cable. Can you confirm how the XLR are wired ?
My understanding is cab screen to pin 1 on xlr
Screen and neg pin 3 to outer ring on phono
Pin 2 positive to centre pin on phono ??
I have been using XLR adaptors but a proper pseudo balanced cable would be better

Yes, apparently the silver Quattro describes the screen, not the cores which are copper.

With regard to wiring I have note opened up the XLR plugs and the website does not give details of the wiring of the pins. All I know it worked for my application. Previous to using the cable, I used standard Neutrik adapters so I guess if these work then this cable should too.
