    Default Graphene Earphones

My iPhone headphones have given up buzzing like mad on bass on the right channel. And let's face it they were never going to win any wards. I just liked them as they were very light weight and not in the ear canal. Bass EQ was mandatory due to poor ear seal, though.

These graphene jobbies have been around for a good long time but I thought I'd order a pair. Should be here Wednesday.

I don't like in ear canal phones generally but for £25 I just have to know what a graphene driver sounds like.

Will be evaluated with my OnePlus 3T and will report back. Generally they seem well reviewed.

    Anyone already got some?

So it turns out these things are pretty intense.

As I said not comfortable due to ear canal penetration.

But they are raw in an unflattering way.

Are they enjoyable? No. And yes due to there obvious directness.

Do I like them? Not really. But the directness is so interesting - til you realise it isn't that enjoyable.

The diaphragm appears to be a hybrid so not actually a pure graphene phone. Whatever. Not great.

Do you wonder how they've managed to make graphene drivers, and so cheaply?

Remember when words like turbo and digital signified "the technology of the future"? They were slapped onto anything and everything in an attempt to sell them. Still are to some extent.
Maybe graphene will become such a word.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
