Why cannot this site facilitate uploads of pics directly as I can on many other forums?

It can, I use Tapatalk which is way easier. The Browser version of the forum is a pain in the arse. It can be done though.

Are Photobucket only targeting user with a large number of photos?

Mine are fine but I've only got about 40 maybe.

Only Photobucket can answer that John, but personally, I'd be inclined to find another hosting service pretty promptly. I've never used Photobucket myself, I've been using 'tinypic' for many years.

I apologise for the sweary nature of my previous posts. I'd had a drink and was livid (still am) at photobucket breaking all links to pics.

Many of which I've uploaded will be of NEBO etc and we'll, those threads are spoiled now.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

I only have about the same number of photos stored as you, John, and they've clobbered me. I noticed it happening to others a few days before I got done, so it's probably only a matter of time before they get to you.

If I had thousands of photos I wanted to store, then I might not mind paying for the service, but the only reason I use it is because of the way this forum works, so I'd prefer to do it for free if possible. Tried imgur, but don't seem to be able to post with it so far.
