the copy and paste is fairly good way to redo a thread. all the responces after a mod can move to the new thread then.
not sure the software allows it (ie temp mod features only to your own stuff)but sure an admin will let us know.

are you ok with users uploading images directly to AoS?
I just, as a test, created an album and uploaded a 4mb image. With hundreds of users possibly uploading images many GBs could be used quite quickly. Does you web host allow unlimited disk (and bandwidth)?
By the way I think it is very generous of you providing this site and, so far as I can see, you don't get any payments (such as from third party adverts).

Just looked more closely and see that the upload/save process for images into AoS albums downsamples the image. In my test example 4mb went to about 100k.
