    Maybe you could make some up yourself, there is plenty on google on how to do this, you could make them to a perfect size, or alternatively maybe someone could do this for you.

    I know of a guy who makes up oak stands on ebay, they really are superb, he will make them any size you wish.
    Very well made as he owns his own furniture business, I have some myself built to a certain height, he made me a larger bottom plate than those on the ad, solid wood really is great for this, they are very sturdy too.

    I think I've seen the guy on eBay who does the stands, he's already given me a budget quote for something suitable in dark walnut to match my speakers but its slightly costly, I think ideally I'll take him up on it once funds allow.
