Default Quad ELS63 Pro (rare) Electrostatics and stands

These are the rare Pro version of the Quad 63 Electrostatics.

Though largely based upon the successful ESL-63, the Quad Pro-63 was created according to Philips Recording Studio specifications in Europe. Most noticable differences are a more ridgid frame and handles on sides for moving around the studio. These were bought by me around 9 years ago from OneThing Audio (Quad refurbishment specialists) who had completely refurbished them including fitting new panels. They have not been used for about 3 years of that period whilst we moved to Wales and untertook a building project (as you might notice in the photo). They are in perfect condition with no crackles, hums or anything of that nature. The fabric is also perfect. We are an animal and smoke free home. They come complete with the stands specially made for the Quads (Richard Walker famously said a beer crate was OK though). These seem to fetch good money themselves. We live a few miles from the end of the M4 in Wales near Carmarthen and I would prefer people to audition them. This is around 2 hours or so drive from the Bath or Bristol area. There are no boxes and they are best transported flat in a large hatchback or van.

Looking for £699 (including the stands)

That's a very good price for these comparatively rare speakers. Good luck with the sale (a few more photographs will help).

Yeah... As lovely as your room is, John (and I like it a lot), we could do with seeing more of the speakers (close up) and less of the room

If you could manage to take some more pics with that in mind, I suspect that potential buyers would respond well to it. Good luck with the sale
