Weirdly enough, I just bought a new one myself.
I dropped my last one and the guard snapped off.
It was the second Phillips model I've had - they both lasted about ten years - and I only use the ones you can charge up via the mains.
This time round I opted for a Braun and I have to say it's way better than the previous two.
The battery life is amazing and it's highly adjustable too, while the guard is one solid piece so there's no chance it can get damaged.
Got it for £20 as it's reduced from £30 at the mo'

I have had Phillishave , and then Phillips rotary shaver for nearly 40 yrs .
Not bad but never really shaved me that great.
Tried a Panasonic foil shaver - oh dear
My wife went to Lidl and purchased me a Remington rotary . I took one look and thought 'Oh Dear Me'
Shame on me , 3 yrs on and it shaves better than most rechargeable shavers I have ever had !!!!!!
I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work
