Absolutely. I rated him at Liverpool under Rodgers but ultimately let himself down. I think he will thrive under Gerrard.

i see man city have told Jason Denayer to find a new club... he was at celtic for a while; do you think celtic will go in for him marco?

on rangers front we seem to be about to strike a deal with roma for a year long loan for umar sadiq. big tall striker, and may be a bit special.... may be bloody useless too of course

There's a chance, depending on how much Man City would want. I would certainly welcome the move, as we need another quality central defender (and Jason knows the Celtic set up), that is if there's enough in the coffers after the 9m signing of Edouard

Not heard of many of the new players coming into Rangers, but no doubt it'll make the team stronger. Looking forward to the start of the new season!

Having now sold Armstrong to Southampton, we're a closing in on John McGinn: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44690849

That's a transfer I've wanted to happen for ages (as I see him as a potential eventual replacement for Brown), plus he's a great player, and I think that sooner, rather than later, it'll be a done deal!

May well be a couple more in yet... still need a bit more up front and cover for the back door, but, yes, its looking like a squad of achievers now as opposed to chancers before.
