Murty's a good shout for an interim manager, but there are only three people I'd give the job to on a full-time basis, and that's either Alex McLeish, Derek McInnes or Tommy Wright, simply because not only are they good managers (with proven track records in Scottish football), but they're Rangers men and know what the club is all about.
Any of those would DEFO take Rangers forward in the right direction. Not sure that McInnes would leave Aberdeen right now though, with the state Rangers are currently in.
