Default Using Sonos with B&O Beolab speakers

As Sonos wireless music streaming players are so popular now, we often get asked whether Sonos can be played directly into a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beolab speakers. This is easy to set up, the best Sonos player to choose is the Sonos Connect (this was previously known as the Sonos ZP80, ZP90 or ZP100).

Here are the cables you need to connect a pair of Beolab speakers to a Sonos ZP80/90/100 or Sonos Connect:-

    Option 1) Earlier Beolab speakers with RCA/phono line inputs, including Beolabs 1, 5, 3000, 4000 (up to 2007), 4500, 5000, 6000, 8000 and Penta:-

http://soundsheavenly.com/line-in-co...ca-super-.html (high-end cables, for the best performance)

    Option 2) Later Beolab speakers without RCA/phono line inputs, including Beolabs 3, 9, 4000 (2008 onwards), 6002 and 8002:-

Option 3) More recent Beolab speakers with RJ45 line inputs, including Beolabs 12 and 14:-

http://soundsheavenly.com/powerlink-...rformance.html (high-end cables, for the best performance)
For either option, please also add one of these adapters for each speaker: http://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufs...powerlink.html

Option 4) The latest Beolab speakers with RCA/phono line inputs, including Beolabs 17, 18, 19 and 20:-

http://soundsheavenly.com/line-in-co...a-line-in.html (standard cables, for the best value)
http://soundsheavenly.com/line-in-co...ca-super-.html (high-end cables, for the best performance)

Please set both speakers to “Line” mode using the small switch next to the input sockets. If you choose the “standard” cables, then you need one cable for a pair of speakers, if you choose the “high end” cables, you need two cables (one cable for each speaker).

Volume control is directly from the Sonos app using your smart phone or tablet. The Sonos Connect can be easily hidden out of view if required.

I'm always happy to help with any cabling or connection questions, so please feel free to ask if you need any assistance!

    Kind regards, Steve.

    Hi Taz,

Sorry about that, links all updated and should now be working. Not sure what happened there, probably my error in creating the links as I'm new to how the AoS forum works. Thanks for letting me know!

    Kind regards, Steve.
