    Default Phono Stage Revisited

    Hi Everyone

    Just an update,

Thank you All for the comments on getting my Phono stage,
I did quite a bit of research and tried quite a few (Cambridge Audio 651, Emotiva, Rega Phono Mk2) wasnt happy with any of them,
I then managed to listen to a Schiit Mani in a store in Southampton whilst visiting family and asked if i could have a home loan-he said ok
Have since bought my very own Mani which will also give me the option to get an MC Cart in the future...
I guess it proves help and info and advice go a long way but there's no substitute for getting out there and trying the product.

Thank you all for all the comments info and advice!!!!!

    Steve

Forgot to mention ( It hammers the Rega Brio 2017 phono stage )

Great you got sorted. The Schiit Mani is a great phono stage and hard to beat at the price.
    Main system : VPI Scout 1.1 / JMW 9T / 2M Black / Croft 25R+ / Croft 7 / Heco Celan GT 702

    Second System : Goldring Lenco GL75 / AT95EX / Pioneer SX590 / Spendor SP2

Interesting that you are finding the mani superior to the rega brio r 2017 phonostage. I think the brio phono stage is great and had stopped using my mani, think it might be time to give it another listen.

Make sure you s just the switches on the bottom until it suits your cartridge. Worth experimenting. Great piece of kit. Who gives a Schiit what they call it for that price and it sounds so good?

Certain I've got it at the right settings. I really enjoy the mani, I just didn't find it significantly superior to the brio. Will definitely have another listen.
