Default For Sale - Claro Clarity 09 Turntable, PSU, Rega RB1000, Nagaoka MP11cart and more

Here's an opportunity for someone - a superb Claro Clarity 09 deck with bespoke psu, rega rb1000, nagaoka mp11 boron Cartridge and clear cover.

Some good info online re this deck. Claro only made thirty before licensing the design to lumley (the heliosphere) and, more recently, to tom Willis for the Composer deck. Claro are a precision engineering company and that really shows - the fit and finish of the deck are honestly second to none.

They now market a two arm version called the dual.

As you can see, This can be specified with an expensive, separate psu. I was lucky enough to make contact with the designer of that power unit and he built me one for this deck, albeit in a far less fancy case. It made a noticeable difference.

The RB1000 needs no introduction and is in lovely order. The Nagaoka cart could do with a new stylus but the current 200 boron fits. I'll also include a full shell Claro cover, some shims for the rega and a lovely arm board that Steve at Magna audio made for me with a rega column fixing so I could use my AN arm 3.

I can't see any marks on anything anywhere. I have boxes for everything but this is a lovely, rare, heavy thing so collection only. I would sell the psu separately but only if I find a buyer for the deck first. Fwiw I'd buy them together, as the psu makes a good difference and you can alter the speed without removing the platter when it's connected.

    Sold

Meant to say that the psu will work with the lumley heliosphere, art audio composer and clarity dual decks too.

There's a nice review of the deck here. Note that my unit has the upgraded feet and weight.

Had an opportunity to look at the stylus under a microscope and it's not that clever after all. I could replace it with a nag 200 stylus but I'll drop the asking price instead, as chances are any buyer will have a cartridge preference already.

SOLD. Nagoaka body and stylus (Fwiw) still included.
