Default New place in Pershore to lose hours of your life

I came across a new 2nd hand record store in my Saturday morning potter around Pershore market.

Small, but a very interesting selection of LPs at proper prices (more like what we used to pay before the idiots discovered vinyl). And run by someone who is genuinely interested in the music.

I think I could be losing a few hours here.

Thanks for the tip - dropped in for a mooch on Saturday last, in between crate-digging in Malvern and a curry in Stratford.

Friendly proprietor, decent enough shop, but nothing I wanted/needed and I came away empty-handed. One of those shops that'd be useful to anyone wanting to reacquire the record collection they sold off in years gone by.

First time in Pershore, though, and a thoroughly spiffing little place it is, too.

I really like Pershore, and tend to do my weekend shopping there Saturday mornings.

I can highly recommend Number 8 as a great venue for cinema and the occasional concert.

Sedgeberrow Books is one the best secondhand bookshops around - I have to stop myself visiting as I always come away with at least one book - and I have a backlog of books to read.

If you like your food, there are a couple of great butchers on the high street, and a very good fish monger in the market. The green grocers are also very good. And Pershore is also the home to the best Sausage and Bacon sandwich on the planet.

Tell me about it: 6' of science fiction and about 4' of travelogues and books on archeology!
Have you listened to this month's choice in the Album Club?

Me too, although I'd no idea of where Pershore was, until I looked it up...

There's a farm in Pershore that sells home made scrumpy 1 a pint too. Very powerful stuff & tastes like squash. Must visit again one day
