    RIPPLE AND ESR?

    ...erm? (hello friends)

    does anyone know where the ripple & ESR data is available for the ELNA silmic II ?
    ARCAM FMJ-A19 + Tacima CS947, Tannoy DC6T Speakers, Tannoy TS10 Subwoofer + Tacima CS947, Sennheiser HD 558 headset, Arcam Miniblink DAC + iFI iPOWER, HP Pavilion G6* - 2382sa D0Y14EA#ABU + Creative BT-D1 [+ Azio BTD-V401]; [*using onboard battery for music listening]. + Audio Software [Room EQ Wizard, Equalizer APO, media players]. I also have a Creative Cambridge DTT2200 5.1 System, & Denon AH-D320 Phones.

    many thanks for the .pdf. Just need the ESR now.

    No wonder mouser etc. don't print these Elna ripple currents, i.e. they are only half the rate of some of the panasonics, nichicons, Nippons etc.!! I imagine the ESR would be a similar story too.

    Good caps = Lowest ESR/highest ripple? (but maybe the elna 'technology' makes up for this).

    Erm.. WHY? would Mouser even Care? They are in the business of Selling.
    If one product outsells another it's Still Profit.
    Real issue with Simlics Which are best of breed... this month.. is their quite limited Uf ranges.
    My audio bits: Thorens / diy phono, CD/dvd player(s), diy pre, F6, Tannoy Golds in my boxes / my xovers, and of course all strung together with basic diy Wires
    Lots of Cd's, yet more audio files, a couple of hundred semi worn Lps.
