    Hi Andy,

    All is well.

Van Damm shotgun is pretty good stuff, especially the 6mm version (good reviews to).

As an aside, I have just installed a B&W PV1D Sub into the system to get a bit more low end grunt. Knocked out.

I use the Van Damme Hifi in 6mm for bass and 2.5mm for tweeter, preferring it over their tour and studio products. Atlas hyper 2.0 for mid, this combo works for me in a 3-way active set up. This is about as exotic as I get with speaker cables. Klotz MC5000 for interconnects and Neutrik connectors.

I have had mixed results with Silver Anniversary in the past, worked in some set ups but not in others, works quite well in my active tweeter application. Overall I find it bright and lacking warmth and timbre in the midrange with average bass. The 6mm VD gives awesome bass feeding my 12" Scanspeak drivers.

Well I've received my new van damme 6mm hifi ( shotgun) cable ( nice ) and I do believe I'm hearing a more fuller sound
And they look real nice , they're probably my first proper hifi cables complete with professionally fitted banana plugs . Happy days
Now should I bin the QED silver anniversary cables and the monster xpci-4 cables ??
