Imagining it is easy and harmless. Trying to force it into existence in the real world is a terrible mistake, creates thousands of unintended consequences, and is playing with people's lives for purely egotistical reasons.

If it is ever going to happen it will happen at its own pace.

    "Imagine there's no heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
    Imagine all the people
    Living for today... Aha-ah...

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion, too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace... You...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world... You...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Would not be a good move for him. It is a poisoned chalice at the moment. Brexit, no majority, relying on the DUP, not how I would want to start off as PM.

My strategy would be to have May hang on until March 2019 when Brexit finishes, she takes the blame and responsibility for that and is then sent to the Lords as a reward.

New Tory leader comes in, clean slate, calls an election 6 months later.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
