Great result and much better than anticipated but if it hadn't been for the jocks voting for the nasty scum party Corbyn would be PM today!
I know, but that's largely the fault of the SNP for harping on about independence (much as I'm sympathetic to the cause) at completely the wrong time when folk had other things on their minds, coupled with Ruth Davidson skilfully capitalising on that.

S'ok, Jez, it's only delaying the inevitable, and after the forthcoming second election, a well-deserved Labour win!

Turns out they're just as sick of hearing Nicola Sturgeon bleating on about a second Scottish independence referendum as the rest of us!

Yep that's what we need to focus on now, especially making sure the young don't give up on their new found interest in politics!

Thing is that if the jocks were so anti independence and SNP than I would have though Labour would be the obvious way to vote.... the nasty party have never been popular in Scotland so for them to suddenly take so many Scottish seats is a shock!

Anyway mayhem is a seriously wounded lame beast PM now and I can't see her lasting long! I wouldn't be that surprised if she announced her resignation within a week or so... we can hope!

The SNP used to be known as the 'Tartan Tories'. It would be wrong to assume their support came entirely from disgruntled Labour supporters.

Lol... Where did you get that one from?

Must be some kind of folklore, born from wishful thinking by a Tory, as every SNP supporter I know, and have known for years, when I used to live in Scotland, (much like me) DESPISED/DESPISES the Tories with a passion!!
