I might add that it was Labour's own fault as they repeatedly reneged of a promise for a Sccottish Assembly in return for snp backing which was given many times. eventually they had enough and pulled the trigger.

Lot of truth in this quote. Where are we at present? Board room pay off the scale, austerity doing long term damage to our public sector, cuts taking place in our schools, plans to privatise the health service, another increase in VAT, workers suffering who are on temporary, agency or zero hours contracts, tax cuts for the highest earners, a leader who delegates the leaders debate to an MP who lost her father two days before, refusal to go head to head on TV with leader of the opposition, what was forecast to be the greatest majority since Thatcher to a hung parliament, our children cannot afford to leave home due to a housing crisis and multiple u-turns on the manifesto.

And this is who will lead our country through the Brexit negotiations. God help us!

"Why can't everyone work together to fix the country?"

That's too much like common sense...

It's interesting to note how badly the SNP did in the election. Losing so many seats could possibly suggest that the Scottish electorate do not want another independence referendum. The Tory party picked up markedly as well gaining a dozen seats. I wonder what the future may hold now with Nicola Sturgeon seemingly being blown off course. Interesting times.
