Me too! I'm surprised we never ran into each in Seville. I can't believe you were at the other two. You don't look old enough.

It's not the distance per se that puts people off. It's the time. The roads can get badly congested.

I recently drove from Glasgow to West Wales (Little Haven) 400 miles took me about nine hours going and ten and a half on the way home.

Takes me seven hours to drive Glasgow>Cambridge, knocks the shit out of you mate and that's only about 270 miles, I'm usually knackered for two days afterwards.

That's fantastic Tony. I'm more than a little jealous It's great that you were able to take your son to Seville and continue the tradition. Really lovely.

Aye Paul, my dad took me to The two EC finals, I went in place of my Granda to Lisbon, he died earlier that year.

Milan was terrbile, pished with rain the whole time and there were transport strikes on in the city when we arrived, still the second biggest game Celtic ever played in though, should have won that match and would have if it had gone to a replay.

I was at the EC semi-final with Milan too when Dixie Deans blootered the penalty over the bar and the 6-2 SCF with Hibs at Hampden, went to both of those games myself, got lifted over the turnstile for both of them.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
