    So you did get a bit of a bargain in the end. Good news!

    The AV amp is from early nineties and so has no value as an AV amp nowadays, although it was an expensive one at the time. I'd say £100 tops, be very hard to shift it at any price I suspect.

    Still the Yammies are sound and that's what matters.

    You could have the Signifiers as the fronts and the Yams as the rears. That should move some air.

    Amp is not AC3/Dolby Digital so you will only have Prologic. Still would be fun though.

    A couple on the bay in nice nick.. asking £250 but unsold so less than that presumably. If its nice it will be a good standby amp to keep, especially if phono stage is decent and it might be

    Jamie, that's excellent news that the Yammies are in full working order. To get the best from them, like any good speaker, you need to work on the setup. Replace the spring clip terminals and feed them with the best amp and source you can afford - enjoy.

    cheers,as you can imagine all thoughts of a tt psu are on the back burner
    im using a sony 700es amp at the moment,listening to some floyd they are sounding very good indeed,im sold!
    i have them about 125mm from the wall with about 15 degree toe in,all dials at zero. im hearing some very accurate bass.
