The amp looks like a relatively recent Yamaha integrated. Could be decent. The other item looks like a Denon tuner to me.

You do realise Jez isn't agreeing with you, he's saying it is the oxide that is the problem. On second thoughts you obviously don't realise that! Anyway, nobody is going to get poisoned now thanks to you, so all ends well.

Jamie, I hope your speakers are OK with no damage - fingers crossed.

I don't think Mark meant that the way it came across. For what it's worth, Mark has done a shedload of work on his NS1000M and probably knows every nut and bolt. And I'm sure he would be happy to help out if you do end up having any issues with them.

well im sat hear listening to them, all the drivers work which is a great relief!
im not thinking jesus these are amazing but thats probably because the M.S. Signifers are so good.
the NS1000's i think are better but not a huge difference.top end and the massive mids are very clear and precise,i like that.
im going to have a play setting them up properly tomorrow.
1 thing i will say is these are without doubt the heaviest mofo's ive ever picked up!

the amp is a denon avc-3530 anyone know what its worth?
