Last week installed the same posts, Also replaced the wires from post to XO with some decent cable.
Must say I didn't notice any change in sound. But the sturdier posts do give a peace of mind.
I still have the mid range at -3 dB and the highs at - 1.5 .
Sounds the best for me, also gives the straightest measurements.
Don't notice any problems with fase shift, as I believe Ynwan remarked.

Just check the binding posts are Brass. I got some similar looking items when I first got my Yammies. They felt a bit light, so I took a file to the end of the solder tab on the body part, they were white metal so I binned them. I use banana plugs exclusively on speaker leads, the solder, bodyless, Z type, so ended up getting some high quality banana sockets. Like these

after some more listening my initial feeling was wrong, they are much better than the signifers!
the accuracy is spot on,using poor old george michael as an example the trumpet on "you have been loved" just sounds so real i could believe he's in front of me.
When Troels Grevensen did his crossover work on the NS-1000m he noticed that they were better with the mic set at mid range height rather than the usual Tweeter listening height. So maybe when tilting them back you are creating a similar effect at your listening position, the mid range being on axis with your ears.
    Just a thought.

These ones came from the states.

Hi Jamie - A lot of things on sale in the States are made in China, so it is still worth checking them.
If you look at the add, it just says Gold plated, but no mention of the substrate, which always makes me suspicious. The white metal ones I ended up with even had steel solder tags, Gold plated, but steel, a magnet soon confirmed that.

I re-used the plastic plates and replaced the posts with some Gold over Brass I got from a UK supplier and were a straight forward swap out. I used these for a while, prior to purchasing the Banana Sockets, which I now use everywhere posts would be found, including the back of Amps. They look good, take up less space and as they don't stick out, don't snap off when you bang into something, which I have done twice with posts.

    Hope yours are right.

If the body is white metal, a magnet wouldn't stick, it could only confirm the solder tags weren't steel.

A few strokes of a file on the flat end of the nipple at the rear will tell you if the body is brass.
