    Default Wanted (to try, maybe buy) - 2x ecc81 / 12AT7

I'd like to play around a bit with the input valves on my new el84 amp.

Anyone got any tasty ecc81 they would be kind enough to lend me?
    2 needed.

    Ta muchly.

Happy to pay postage costs, of course.

(-- I have a pair of JJ hopefully arriving today)

    Hi Phil

Thanks - here's the tale of the amp ... http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...890#post912890

Yes, some el84 (4 needed) may well be of interest as well.

I also have some pinched waist (see pinch in the glass below) Valvo E180CC. Last time I looked they cost a lot i.e. > £100.

Left overs from my Lampi level 4 days.

I think I have some Mullard 1980s CV4024 kicking around and if I find those I'll send them too. They are damned good I think, be an interesting compare to the 67s Paul is sending,

PM me your address again (one day I'll write it down!).

The Valvos are bizarre. They are known to be microphonic and they are! You can blatantly hear they are quite lively if you have the amp on a rack the will let some vibration through you should find them quite entertaining. Don't worry they are fine just microphonic.
