    Default New bits

There has been a few changes since the last photos. The stuff you can't see is the upgraded SME arm and interconnects. The stuff you can is the Target rack, thanks Lawrence, and the addition of a Musical Fidelity X DAC. I always thought that the Marantz CD6005 sounded good but the X DAC has moved it up a level or three. I had to put a spare glass shelf on the turntable as the cat has decided to make it one of her beds.

SR-370 still doing its bit then. Really good turntable those!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Really happy with it Geoff, I had a few set up issues with sibilance, or so I thought, but Jamie bought his lovely Elite Rock over and put my mind at rest, I think it was just my rock band ears playing up. I did a little more fine tuning of the 2M just to smooth out the bass, that's one of the great things about having a mate who loves hi fi too.
