    My Monitor Golds cost me 160$ each in '72 ( Have the receipt)
    I was earning 700$ month then at my average starter job.

    My Tannoy IIILZ speakers cost me £66 for the pair. Also in 1972.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    OK got Hi Fi Year book out and I've actually found it in 1978 book. £333.33 plus VAT!

    Interesting... Seemingly prices were V similar in relation/proportion to average wages as they are currently.
