    this is copper silver cable:

my friend before had 4mm copper cable for internal wiring of his loudspeakers and all goes good.
after he changed from cpper 4mm to VHD CS12 2.96mm he has bad sound: highs became harsh and bass are weak and lean.
    is this possible ?

Yes, anything is possible with all the variables and vagaries of all that is hifi.

Yes, I have used copper cables, silver plated copper cables (QED Genesis) and other variants and DIY stuff. It is all about how the cable works with your amplifier/speaker combo. You can read all the reviews about cables, all the specs etc etc, but until you try it in your system you will not know if it is compatible, or better still whether you like the presentation it gives. Synergy is IMO the most important part of getting good sound. Over many years I have made many mistakes with all parts of the hifi chain. What I would not do now is spend silly money on cables. There is a saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" so buy sensibly.
