    Default tumble dryer fires

last august there was a big fire in a tower block caused by a tumble dryer . took 120 firefighters to control

    apparently :

Whirlpool has written to 3.8 million owners of the affected dryers, but as many as 2.4 million have not responded. The company has written to them again, offering to repair their machines.

thats 2.4 million potential fires doesn`t bear thinking about does it .

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

    Default tumble dryer fires

I reported this issue about 8-10 years ago via the Fire Service Information sharing system when I was a Crew Manager and I also highlighted certain washing machines too as we'd had a spate of them in my area, needless to say nothing was ever done.
