As a hi-fi reviewer I asked Roger Webb of RTJ to supply me with various resistive and capacitative loads to get the best measured and subjective sound from the variety of cartridges I was reviewing. Roger eventually produced two sets of loading plugs - one for resistance and once for capacitance - and I used these sets extensively when reviewing. My original two experimental sets of 6 phono equalisers each - three pairs for resistance and three pairs for capacitance - are up for sale. They can be stacked for intermediate loads. I would not look on these as a permanent listening solution but a way of establishing the correct loading. These might be more useful to a group of enthusiasts rather than an individual but they will go to 'the bay' on Sunday if no one here is interested. Boxed (one lid missing) with original instructions.
