    Default Firebottle Towers speaker clearout

    First off ATACAMA speaker stands

    Re-sprayed and sand filled, 60cm tall, £25

Definitely pick up only, they weigh 18.3kg each.

Second a pair of British Loudspeakers model BLQ

    Rear of one:

They are two way IB in 20 litre black cabinets. The cabinets are very solid.

SEAS H253 tweeter and unknown 5 1/2 inch woofer. The tweeter has been toned down a little with crossover mods.
There are a couple of dings to the cabinets, worst one shown:

The bass tails off somewhat but if a Loudness function is used they go deep very cleanly. £40 or offers

Lastly a pair of Goodmans Mezzo 3 with replacement Celestion HF1300 tweeters.

These caused quite a stir at MiBO, see this post http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...045#post802045

They are ported with a 10 inch woofer and as stated they have HF1300 tweeters.
The binding posts have been replaced with 4mm sockets/posts. There are a few light scratches to the cabinets:

    £60 SOLD

Much prefer collection on all these but may consider courier for the speakers.

I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Can't see those modified Goodmans Mezzo 3s hanging around for long! Bit of a Billy Bargain there.

    Good luck with the sale.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

The woofers on the BLQs remind me of Castles.

OK the British Loudspeakers BLQ need to go.

Will take £20 for the pair. I'm at Owston meet if anyone is interested in them, I could bring them along.

Offers accepted for the Atacama stands.
