    now i know there is already a thread about this but posted again as includes windsor

    october 21-22 this year looks to be busy . you can choose between the windsor hi end hi fi news show

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Harrogate is a lot more convenient for me, travel-wise.

    I well remember the Harrogate International festival of Sound... best ever hi fi show IMHO... It used the Old Swan as one of many venues back then.

    Well I'm just down the road from Windsor, so that is obviously the best venue!
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
