Here I have for sale a pair of Stevens and Billington TX102 volume control transformers and Elma 24 position rotary switch (version with gold flushed contact pins).
I bought these from new about 12-15 years ago when Stevens and Billington were just entering the TVC market and these are the TX102 transformers that got wonderful reviews and created the future for First Audio.
At the time these were sold as electrical components - no posh boxes were available for them.
So a great friend of mine soldered them up for me into a bread bin purchased from the local department store, you can still see the holes in the top where the handle was. I am still in awe of how anyone can solder that many wires and make it all work.
I have never felt the need to transfer the works into a better cabinet, that could be your choice.
It has one pair of inputs and one pair of outputs, together with an optional grounding point, and has worked brilliantly with both valve and transistor gear over the years.
I spoke to First Audio recently and they offered me £1000 trade-in against one of their new TVCs, which I guess shows the value that exists in this gear.
This is for sale at £500 collected or posted at your expense.
