    Really tempted by these, but the timing is all wrong.
    If you still have them in a few weeks time (which I doubt) I may well be put n touch about shipping....

    Out of interest, how much power do you need to get these to sing properly?

    87db is medium efficiency. I reckon 40 watts upwards should be OK in the average room. Maybe even a touch less.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    I am currently using a 70 wpc valve amp and have use a Sony 770es 90wpc , The do like some watts up them , gives a more defined full sound

    55 watts will give a max loudness only one or two db short of what a 70 watt amp will do. You'd not hear the difference.
